Comfort Women: A New Musical

Comfort Women: A New Musical premiered on Off-Broadway in 2018 and came to the Los Angeles Theatre Center on August of 2019. Directed by Dimo Kim Musical Theatre Factory, the fictional story of survival and courage features an all-Asian cast that educates the audience of the real horrors Korean women experienced as sexual slaves under Japanese colonial rule.

Emi Chun acted as assistant to the director as well as handled Box Office, Social Media Marketing, Photography, and Videography.

In addition, as a fine artist, Emi Chun put together a body of work inspired by the historical events depicted in the artistic retelling of WWII.
